[Il podcast di MR+] L'intervista a David Greco

ASZ Magazine - n°1 Aprile 2018

gRally: Early Access controverso

gRally è in vendita su Steam a 3 euro e 99 centesimi.

English version
GRally on Steam platform: € 3,99.
What should be GRally? A project that takes all the good (the best in reality) of RBR and updates it, introducing new features (recce, online mode, easy installation/management system for mods and liveries...).
What really is, at the moment, GRally?
A promising starting point. For what? We will see it within a long time.
Personally I would not have put it in Early Access, at the moment. It's a sort of Alpha version, it's completely not evaluable. In fact, is regrettable the very bad response of some of the most popular simdrivers, which have shown on their YouTube channel a product for which it is said, in no uncertain terms, that we should request immediate refund... but... simply not worth it considering the price.
The recognition of peripherals is excellent (once you understand how to set the axis), there are no strange conflicts even setting an analog handbrake (Logitech DFGT + Attack3 joystick).
The graphics settings are very detailed and scalable, but at the moment there is a lot of stuttering even with minimum graphics settings (Asus Strix GTX 970).
The sound is currently sketched, the force feedback is to be implemented, the collisions to be reviewed. Physics, also accomplices the aforementioned current defects, is not evaluable.
What do we do today with GRally?
It seems that the only thing that currently makes sense to do is to buy it, just to support the development of the project. And forget about having it in the Steam library.
An act of trust! For all that we have been told should it represent in the future.
But at the moment we still can not afford to abandon RBR: RSRBR, RBR-World and Real Rally will stay with us for a long long time.
It could certainly be avoided, at this stage, to crucify the project and makes video reviews.
